Was commissioned to do a minecraft piece which provided an interesting experiment of using angular styled "panes" rather than my usual curved linework. Was more difficult than initially anticipated, but I think it turned out pretty good

Another two badges knocked out for Art Fight! These are so much fun to make and are great practice for me with colors, expressions, and linework. Plus I get to draw these cuties, win-win! 🥰✨

rough draft colors, a general idea on how i want to approach the colors. a little fun, playing around with ideas, before i tackle the last rough, which may or may not be serious linework.

Thank you so much! It ended up becoming a collab between me and , she colored my lineart and it came out SO COOL, I love the way she emphasized/shaded the gold of the halos especially, since they were def my favorite part of the linework.

PASSION signs Sara Liztenberger ( ) for representation in the UK and US.
Sara’s art style is painterly and playful, with a hand-drawn aesthetic to the linework.
We are excited to have Sara join the PASSION roster of skilled directors!

Hi !

I'm Summer, an upcoming illustrator and comic book artist.

I love drawing lots of details and linework. I do a variety from fantasy to cutesy. Full illustrations to simple outfit concepts.

Looking forward to doing more fantasy character work!

Trying a different method of drawing and coloring. Basically dropping the linework. Instead I color over the sketch then apply shadows and light on a different layer.

Finished making adjustments, next step? Linework.

I found another cutie on my twitter and tried some different linework. I can never resist the green hair ngl 😍 💚

I'm always trying different techniques when I do digital 🙈 either way I'm happy with the results!

I'm sure you guys remember the
Well I have been having fun making artwork that look like screencaps.

Either way, I think I am getting better at linework.

Thirty minutes to make something interesting. I'd like to be able to get colors done, but I'm very reliant on my linework.

next step was tightening up the rough and finishing the linework. also added the flat colours. we also played around with multiple colour palettes and landed on these blues and purples

Want to get back to comics, but I abandon a lot of stuff because by the time I'm inking, it starts looking ugly. I get disappointed and move on.

I've been wanting to shift styles some, maybe I should try this kind of pencil/wash look for a page, and not get hung up on linework.

Drew this redesign/reimagining/whatever a while ago, might redo it when I get around to the rest of the cast since I don’t like the pose or linework.

Now, the painting stage should be a breeze because i frontloaded most of the work beforehand to coloring/linework. I detailed the mom way more because she is the focus, and let the linework take over when i thought it wouldn't be looked at as much. work smarter not harder!
