The NS 2600 was the Fyra of the 1950's. The diesel engine, designed for usage in ships, was not suitable for the locomotive at all. This resulted in the locomotives being scrapped in 1960, after just a couple years of usage. Final mainline diesel for Streamlined!

12/ The D51 line was a series of 1000+ steam locomotives produced by JR (Japan Rails) East, known for extreme pulling power. Nickname was Degoichi (D + go (5) + ichi (1)).
D51 498, specifically, was restored in 1988 to be used for special events.
