Eventually, the original grandiose project came out as Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. It blew my mind as a kid. Was the most in depth JRPG I'd ever played and there's still nothing quite like it. It was so great that Golden Sun and Wild Arms both copied its formula

Soon realizing there was no way in hell it was going to release in any sort of reasonable timeframe, they started working on an NES-tier side game that would come out first. Eventually winding up on the Super Nintendo but being somewhat basic, was Lufia & the Fortress of Doom.

And now is the 10th anniversary of Lufia DS, I didn't draw anything because I was focused on the Lufia II drawing, so have these photos instead. Lufia DS is the only game I like as much as Lufia II
