Lyme-related health issues have cropped back up and put me out of commission (If you ever see a bullseye rash after a day out, see a doctor QUICK).

BUT FRET NOT! I'll be back, and better than ever. For now, I'll be reminiscing with the classics~

Good evening Helen & thank you. Lyme was a day-trip destination for us when I was a child so I have a very soft spot for it in my heart. Here's a view from Cobb Road that I'm sure you'll know very well: this is "Lyme Regis" by John Cooper from c.1934/35.

Happy Superb Owl Sunday! I've shared this one here before, but I felt it important to remind everyone who the most superb owl of them all is... Art by lyme-lime on Furaffinity!

Good evening Sandra & how interesting that you are related to Mary Anning! Lyme Regis was a day-trip destination for us as a family when I was a child. John Cooper painted extensively there & this view of his of "Lyme Regis" is one that is known to survive. https://t.co/nwr6YpgF0w

This oil painting, created en plein air at Lyme by artist Tom Stevenson, was commissioned by Ffern to accompany our Winter 22 fragrance.

Good morning Dorothy & thank you. Yes, it is rather dull & dreary here in Dorset. Here's one from the county which I hope might brighten your day: this is "Lyme Regis" by John Cooper from c.1935. https://t.co/k0SsDVkcom

I had my own idea for the Mary Anning statue design in Lyme Reggis

They weren't ready for it

Good morning Kathryn & thank you. The sun has come out now here in East Dorset so maybe this view of "Lyme Regis" by John Cooper from 1935 might be more appropriate! I think it has a much needed feel of summer "warmth" to it. https://t.co/3PX8U9w9gE
