Hey did you guys know both Felix AND Ash have nictitating membranes?
Felix's only close when he's flying or blinking out of reflex because it's freaked strangers out before whilst Ash has far more control over hers, closing it when she's about to kick somebody's ass
#TeratologyChallenge Atavism - Reverting to an earlier version. Tlin is my alien bard and his species used to be able to fly but then they became space travelers and lost the ability, but some have started to grow in the membranes that once allowed for flight.
