I think it's safe to say that the orange Fusion Suit is just another Varia Suit. Calling it the Omega Suit never made sense to me since you didn't get it from the Omega Metroid. And calling it the X Suit is strange since SA-X's appearance derives from Samus' original Varia Suit.
