I have just completed the first round of #digestions (for actual samples not just protocol tests) for my #phd. 9 #fish down, 132 to go (plus 2 #seals, 33 #Corophium, 44 #crabs, 1 #polychaete and 37 #shrimp).

So glad that I was able to confirm that at least one #Corophium was present in my sediment samples. They are the main prey species of #Thames #flounder and will be the base of my #TrophicTransfer of #microplastics study!
