Im gonna be 100% honest that the pokemon takes on the Momotaro look more yokai watch than actual yokai watch ones imo
No hate to the YW ones cause I do like them but also them just being nyan clones is really boring.

Saw people talking about the new Pokémon so I thought I'd interject.
The new set of Pokémon are all based on animals fro Momotaro, a well-known Japanese fairytale. It features a talking dog, monkey and pheasant that join the hero Momotaro on a quest to fight Oni (demons/ogres).

2) The Oni Pokemon named Ogerpon, is based on the story of a Boy who was born in a peach, a Dog, a Pheasant and a Monkey who go to fight an Oni. It's called Momotaro The Peach Boy. That's why the others go with Ogerpon
