Gen 1 Grimer and Muk were the best Grimer and Muk (but specifically the sprites outside of Japan, so Red and Blue)

To make easier here is my favorite from each region:
Alola: Muk
Galar: Slowbro
Sinnoh/Hisui: Arcanine
Paldea: Tauros (Blaze Breed)
Regional Variant is tricky because I don’t really use many of them.
I’d say my favourite is a tie between Alolan Muk, and Galarian Zapdos.
