brünhilde is named after the mythological figure who was portrayed as both a valkyrie and an amazon-esque queen depending on whether you follow norse or german mythos! i also rly like the way the nibelungenlied (an epic poem) describes her!
It's based on one I did before; for colour inspiration I've got this Nibelungen poster (the film also influenced the story's setting), and I love the colours in this FIYAH! cover!

2nd read through of The Nibelungenlied and I think I'm just starting to hate everything.
God this book is depressing and honestly I just wonder why I should bother caring at all.
Enjoy these works by Henry Fuseli.
1. Kriemhild sees the dead Siegfried in a dream
2. Brunhild observing Gunther, whom she has tied to the ceiling
3. Kriemhild shows Gunther in prison the Nibelungen ring
4. Kriemhild shows Hagen Gunther’s head
