Made a few variants based off different cat breeds, and tried different outlining for the teeth.

I always start off with a pencil sketch & use different colors for face/body, hair, and clothes! It helps me a lot cause I tend to mix up lines :,)

Then I do lineart (my method is to get the eye shape w the base color before outlining it) then onto coloring!

I have HUGE respect for artists that do sketching then outlining AND THEN coloring INSIDE the lines. How do you have the patience to do all that?!

Notice the left is one color, and the right is lighter than the skin but has a verrry slight outlining that’s darker than the skin!
