When I was twelve I saw this X-men cover with Cannonball hanging upside down and fell in love with comics to a new level. It was one of the art moments that sticks with me. You will be missed Carlos Pacheco! 60 was way too young!

Such a big loss for the comic book industry. Spanish artist Carlos Pacheco passed away after announcing his ELA diagnosis last September. His art is immortal tho. (Carlos has beautifully drawn ’The Life Of Captain Marvel’ series by Margaret Stohl in 2018.)

Very saddened to learn about Carlos Pacheco passing. A hero of mine since the first time I saw his first drawings decades ago. This was well before he started to work for either Marvel or DC, but he was already an amazing artist. A great loss for the comics. RIP
