Thank you for hosting!
I'm slowly migrating online with my artwork. Been doing traditional art for a long time as a hobby, but digital is fairly recent for me.

I like your artwork colour palettes, and am working on making my stuff a little less monochrome :)

In fact, The Hobbit (1977) pretty much set the tone for the late 70's/early 80's in general with the murky color palettes, dark fairy tale atmosphere, and Arthur Rackham influence echoing in the work of Don Bluth, Ralph Bakshi, Jim Henson, and even Disney itself (by the mid 80's)

I think I'm good at colour palettes, expressing emotion through my work, and border designs.
I want to get better at figure drawing, shading, composition and consistency of style...basically I feel my technical drawing skills lag behind my conceptual skill.

Nobody asked but i wanted to talk about it a bit... when coloring im usually think of palettes, specyally formthe underpaint. So that i can make the piece be cohezie with harmony but still have enough hue contrast not to look muddy

Does this make sense ? 🧍

Toying with the Sprite Lamp example in Unity with a Super Mario World palette to test an idea. I've hardly seen anyone actually try "real time" sprite lighting with such limited palettes, and I am SO tempted to be the first… but any artists I'd hire would hate me

As is the norm for me, I'm running somewhat behind on the prompts, but I'm still enjoying them! This one is Candle, from Kick in the Creatives.
I am really enjoying playing with limited palettes, and just experimenting really.

I had this idea to draw 3 of the couples from my original projects, in fall color palettes, then I decided to make a meme of it! Blank version is in the post below.
Featured L to R: Vargan & Jenny from Orc Girl, Milo & Emmy from Sanctuary and Rob & Audrey from Casual Monsters.

It's spooky season and I have been wanting to do more art. Just wanting to do some quick things, play around with limited colour palettes, and maybe draw some creepy things.
I'm using the prompt list from Kick in the Creatives.

Another artist who’s art makes me feel all cozy is . I feel like their art would fit right into a whimsical romance graphic novel. When I see artists use warm palettes, it’s usually on the orange side, but I don’t see artists use pink tones like he does, so pretty!!!

Frostwhisper brings the frost and the cold winter winds. she has 4 variations, but this is her main one - the pegasus. she can also be seen as a unicorn, a kelpie, or a hippocamp. each of them have different color palettes, but the same look/markings.
