Red Lion Rock Jaw - large even for a gnoll. Especially for a gnoll. He'd recently struck out on his own to find trade partners for his family's supply of red iron and managed to find some personal growth in the bargain. That pauldron used to be much bigger on him.

they're hard to make out in still images but in motion they (or at least the one on the right side, as the one on the left gets obscured by his pauldron and scarves a lot) are really easy to spot if you know to look for them

If there is any part that I think is the most challenging to design, it's this part, the pauldron. Human shoulder is a very special joint, not only the pauldron has to keep up with the motion range, it also has to look good doing it.
