He: crazy about her. She: not sure how she got involved with this guy. Parrot: why is there a parrot?? Benjamin and Eleanor Ridgely Laming, painted by Charles Willson Peale in 1788.

My next attack on Art Fight features Maisie, an OC by artist chashakuu. I love Maisie’s muted colors & cute faces (I say faces because of her face itself, the face on her tail, & the faces in the ears), so she appealed to me & was a pleasure to draw! Enjoy!

The ST appealed coz it came out before the Amiga. But when the Amiga arrived, people quickly started to shift to it, if they could afford to. Sidewinder and Paradroid are good examples of games that were good on the ST, but definitely better on the Amiga due to sound/scrolling.

For I'm posting some of the nineteenth century art that's inspiring me as I work on Inferno, the game of swashbuckling adventure.

Peale's 1819 'Yarrow Mamout' rare, straightforward 19c portrait of a black man.

Watched Saint Bernard (2013) this worked for me on two levels 1: a clever surreal social satire & 2: a batsh!t crazy nightmare Fantasy/Horror film. Straight off the bat this really isn't for everyone but it appealed to me. Directed by FX legend Gabriel Bartalos this was a blast👍

Its an aesthetic thats often appealed to me as well, obviously lol. Just a fun visual, and it gives lil dimi stuff to clean up on the inside.

It is so sad and i just don't know how the Blonde version of this hair got deleted. I've already appealed to Roblox and hopefully they put it back on as soon or as fast as possible. 😥

Basket of flowers from the garden, 1856, by my namesake Rubens Peale. Flowers were not really his forte (except for growing them). He was born on this day in 1784.

Roe vs Wade being repealed? Wow quite a shock!
I wonder what the self-righteous, arrogant, "never-ending march of progress" types are saying about this?
Too bad so sad...

Charles Willson Peale was talking about before it was cool.

So far as I know, he is also the only person to be the subject of two posts in a single month.

Why do I love so much?

Followed since last summer when I came across his work on Twitter - even during a wave of amazing SEA artists such as IMCMPLX and Gilangdaru, Purika stood out. The comic book style really appealed to my geek side.

A piece I did a few years back of Hex Maniac (the X and Y version) dressing up as a Gengar and being embarrassed about it while her Pokemon look on in approval. I was obsessed with this version of HM at the time because her whole aesthetic appealed to me alot :)

Well, let's just say a vile being appealed to his darkest side for a short while

Laws can be repealed. There’s a process. People zapped from platforms have no rights and no recourse.

Waaaay ahead of you lol!! 🤣 This was part of a self-insert naughty comic I made back in 2015. I'm riding my bearded dragon Panini (RIP🥺). The whole idea of lizard riding as always appealed to me 🥰
