A good example of Artstyle is Sonic Battle! Nobody complains on how pointy Sonic's quills are. And how his nose is shaped like a damn polygon. That's because it's a distinct artstyle choice. I think some people don't WANT to see distinctive art in Sonic Comics. And it's a shame.

The only sonic designs I really have issue with are the AoSTH / USA / SatAM designs, because of the weirdly separate single row of quills that stick awkwardly out of the back of his head. I think they really break the flow of his otherwise smooth design.

I drew Sonic looking at his Watch in my Comfort style. I also tried drawing him with Tan Ears and floppy Quills and I like it, though I prefer the way I usually draw them!

I love how they work somewhat like Mickey mouse's ears the way they kind of move with whatever way he's facing, depending on the style of course.

While I think it's awesome people like my silly Sonic OC, I do want to redesign him slightly since he wasn't supposed to look like he has Sonic quills, but rather "hair" like Bark the Polar bear
