Lumi here never really knew her parents and was by herself a majority of her life. That is until she started filling the gap with her family of salmonid and a salmonling shes illegally housing in her apartment (with the recently addition of a sanitized octoling lol)

I was never a big fan of salmonlings before, im one to prefer canon
but since they are canon now it seems thought it might be fun to design one? nothing here is final, I want them to be more unique

Salmonlings can sometimes have little lip fangs(?)

Salmonlongs can sometimes have fins that grow from their arms

Must have traits

Similar to octolings, Salmonlings have pointed claw like fingers. They have a gradient that’s always the darker gray

Salmonlings always have gills that are either the primary or secondary hair colors

Tails

Salmonling tails can larger (as seen in the pictures) or thin and more flexible (need to draw this).

The tails usually use the primary hair color as the base then use the secondary at the tips. The tail itself is always grey with a lighter secondary on the bottom (1/2)

Markings

Markings vary from Salmonling to Salmonling. They can have freckles, stripes, and spots! Feel free to experiment! Not all salmonlings may not have markings though

Marklings are usually the secondary color but there are instances where it’s a primary color
