In the 1920s #artist Anna Marongiu created illustrations dedicated to #ThePickwickPapers. Anna seems to have really loved the story with a full 262 illustrations! Last year they were leant to the MAN Museum in Sardinia, Italy for a wonderful exhibition 🖌️

Man, the more I learn about Araki the more I feel like I’d get along with him. This man literally uses the Bronze Age Nuragic bronze statuettes from Sardinia in JoJo. That’s a guy that really knows some obscure history and archaeology facts.
