These two well-known images by George Cruikshank are an excellent example of how visual satires could contribute to politicized public identities for individual politicians.

I realized whenever I draw Amity that I make her hair longer than others do, so I made this. Kinda satire against me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A satire just for fun, SuiGreymon to Digi-Paradox!

Don't listen to haters or extreme fanboys, creativity is freedom to do whatever you imagine, so do it! After all it's just fanart and not official!

Caricature & satire were his genius. His vision was of a just & honourable society. The Headache (1833), Freedom of the Press (1834), Modern Galileo (1834) & Past, Present, Future (1834). The latter is a picture of the king.

I would say it's the fault of "comedy and satire" too.

I see western cartoon still have strong roots on making character ugly on purpose to laugh at it. Beanhead, big mouth, huge noses are a logical conclusion.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a must-read for anyone who loves witty humor, satire and science fiction. It's key points on the absurdity of the universe and the search for meaning are truly thought-provoking.

What sets A! apart from most other cynical satire shows is that the characters actually love each other, the warners are a trio of siblings who get into mischief and constantly mock eachother, but they feel like a family not as a group of people who are force to be together

The Nightmare (1781) by Henry Fuseli.

- This painting's dreamlike and erotic evocation of infatuation and obsession was a huge popular success when it was created.
- It was parodied in political satire a lot.
- Fuseli ended up producing at least three other versions.
