I don't really like Sirius' attack animations.

Her first sword swing is absolutely badass, but the momentum is immediately ruined by how she sizzles tiny lightning using her shield.

The animation lacks weight, which I wasn't fond of in Naala's attack, either.

The original Nuparu Mahri set was planned to have a sword and shield, but the final set had just the shield. Nuparu was still written as carrying a sword in Downfall, and thus, a contest was held to design it (2007)

The leather strap theory is sort of my counter thesis on the concensus that the Macedonian pelte used the same Argive Porpax grip to the Aspis which I disagree.

I believe that the Macedonian shields likely used leather straps to fasten the entire left arm to the shield.
