The humanoid stepped out of the mutation chamber, and Dr. Carono was satisfied with the results.
His body shape, mouse fur, croc teeth, chest/neck, and toad eyes. The new humanoid specimens reminded him of the old habitants of the swamp.

@EDGEinthewild SUPER late, but I did it! My first thought looking at the specimen tho:
"Those are some REALLY big horns in comparison to the skull, woah!".
Today's warm up! Late to the game, but I did it! Decided to try both a realistic and a cartoonish version of the Triceratops specimen.

I'll round it off with a personal favourite and some speculation: Beipiaosaurus.
B. was a therizinosaurid from china, and the only specimen with melanosomes preserved was a juvenile. The colours on the neck feathers were revealed to be brown. (art PaleoNeolithic)
Tyrannosaurus rex, specimen CM 9380 for @TM9380’s reconstruction prompt
I’m surprised that this took less time than I expected
Fun little fact that is kinda-ish, sorta-ish common-ish knowledge that I wasn't fully aware of until a few days ago: most Oviraptor reconstructions you see are actually based on an unnamed Oviraptorid specimen and not Oviraptor.
Link to a blog below that explains this a bit.
Day 5 of #TheCreatureMarch : "sea slug!"
I couldn't resist tossing one of these in here. x3 Sea slugs are so fun and inspiring to look at! Perfect creature design inspiration fodder.
This time the slug of choice is Limacia Cockerelli (swipe to see a specimen)!

For a better sense of scale, here are some pictures to illustrate how big this fella was. The first pic is my recon, the second pic is the specimen in my collection, collected while doing investigation on Cape Espichel. https://t.co/nbKKQeMVnB
