Probably related to the ongoing disruption of the polar vortex. NAO/AO are negative and North Atlantic is relatively quiet. Strong high pressure over Siberia which extends also Finland.

About 95% of my OCs are for my original story, Vortex. the other 5% of them are made for other stories that play out in my mind.

When I create a story, even as a concept, I go straight to the characters and come up of a world and setting that works best for them.
