Sascha comes from an entirely different plane. He is a dimension hopper, able to jump through his own dimension to Wicki's ,where all this happens. He is very important, but mostly his story contains spoilers.
Dusk is Wicki's mother. She raised him, but with the arrival of her second child, that love fizzled out and her attention turned more towards Wicki's brother (unknown rn). She is also cold towards Wicki, and often acts superficial.
Alder is a high ranking colony cat, brawny and big and mean. He's Wicki's dad, and has berated him most of his life for being "different". Alder is cold and uncaring—when he was young he tried to bond with Wicki, but ultimately gave up. Wicki hates him.
Seer (See-er) is an old, blind beast whose also a soothsayer. She knew about Soot before he did and took him under his wing when his parents left the colony. She's old and kind, and love Soot and Wicki as if they were her own.
The main char - Wicki. He's a beast but doesn't know it yet, and his burden is destruction. He has a complicated relationship with life, but climbs the ranks as the most ruthless freedom fighter for beasts—especially after he finds out he is one.

When in doubt, throw a dog in the comic. My sincerest thanks & admiration to @Will_Tempest for not scoffing at the idea of putting a tiny blue dog in our serious big-boy comic. But looking at this image now, I think Wickie will make a fine addition to Cities of Magick.
