Oof, I know the struggle. My workaround has been writing the wingdings in another program like MS Paint and then pasting it into FireAlpaca. Not at all helpful, but that's my loophole I guess.

another workaround is having the display mode switched via the display mode switches on the right side of the rifle. disabling the ammo counter to bring up a battery and rifle status display instead similar to what some LCD screens have, which I guess the MA5 rifles use.

I'm so glad I don't have to use the same workaround methods I used to to digitally color some drawings because while the rustic look is...ok looking back I much prefer this smoother cleaner appearance.

It's really hard to just sit down and do work when all you can think to do is pace around. Too much to do and a lot of it can go wrong. ( Some of it already went wrong. Now just flailing around looking for workarounds and loopholes.)

Finally found a workaround to have the world-settings accurately affect toon-shading (no matter what your texture). But it's still finicky.

Need to test it out in every scenario (including HDRI) otherwise I'm afraid it might break.

Working on the About MOTHER page while the website is in Staging Mode. There are some workarounds right now, but the good news is that all images are "focusable" which means you'll be able to blow up the image to see it better. :)
