Repost, but here's some various Monster Hunter subspecies for your viewing pleasure! In order: Stygian Zinogre, Acidic Glavenus, Tigerstripe Zamtrios, and Shrouded Nerscylla
#MHStories2 Monsties: Zamtrios
Monsters known for the astonishing changes that occur when they coat their bodies in icy armor. They are able to create this armor by spraying themselves with a special liquid that builds up in their bodies.
Pretty excited Zamtrios is a game, I loved fighting that stupid thing in 4 Ultimate back in the day. Gammoth and Mizutsune are strong contenders too. I hate fighting Mizutsune but man, his design is still so good.
Hemllo! Here is one of my most favorite monsters from monster hunter stories 1: Zamtrios. I'm really excited to play mh stories 2.

And I finish with Wulfric who would get Beotodus which is a good choice for him. Zamtrios can be a good choise too, but there's no frozen sea in Snowbelle

holy shit zamtrios is the coolest of all the fish type monsters i’ve ever fought against lol
@ArtemisVtuber I didn't know that you're a zamtrios, Artemis...
@wyverian_MH Zamtrios just barely edged out Mizutsune here, but I prefer the look of his weapons, so he takes it for favorite monster
Someone suggested Tetsucabra armor, and I happened to have a sketch of it already! With bonus Zamtrios DB. I'd like to get into the detail of this armor some day! 🐸🦈 #MonsterHunter

If the Zamtrios stays in this state for too long or sustains a lot of damage, it'll release the gas inside of its body out of pores found around its abdomen to return to its normal state and size.
Zamtrios loses the arrow-shaped horn, which it had as a juvenile, as it grows, but it can create one out of ice when it's enraged. It also forms a blade on its tail while angered.
Zamtrios, Akura Vashimu, Namielle, and Anorupatisu are some more that I like!
More proggies on the Z-Man draft, with some base coloring and some fun with the 3D models on CSP Gotta sketch up his Ice Armor form on his Raged state next, then onwards to linework :D GAWD I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THIS CHAOTIC EVIL ZAMTRIOS ON THE NEXT CAMPAIGN
