Spent last night trying out different fonts and balloon layouts. Back Issues font I've been using for years seems a bit hard to read on smaller resolution. Still feels like wearing someone else's clothes when font gets changed. #comic #OC #NOIR #ArtistOnTwitter #CLIPSTUDIOPAINT
Sometimes I think of that point and click I was making a few years ago. Have sketches and stuff, a lot of the puzzle flow and writing had been outlined and was being tweaked, I started animating character sprites, did background layouts and we'd started testing it w/ stand-in art

Felt like trying comic layouts for these events. Right now it's pretty basic, with the comic borders being shattered to show how fast a character is going, but otherwise pretty uninteresting. At the very least, it's a start.

Hara is one of my favorite mangakas of all time, and his art in the black and white pages look stunning. However, his coloring doesn't translate that well into cover art, and his layouts aren't the best
however, some of his covers are gorgeous. These are my faves!

@RollandTellPod I'd like to show a little bit of my own personal work! It may be a little more cartoony than you're looking for however, but I am a graphic designer professionally and have some skill in doing layouts as well as various styles of illustration!
22/7 Animation Note is another pick up for me this month. I like the show and I'm always a fan of Yukiko Horiguchi's designs. Book includes layouts, storyboards, and character designs. This one is also an Animestyle publication, which have all been excellent buys.
@CoolComicArt @JonBogdanove one of the cool things I heard about this was as the story came to an end the panels got bigger until it was just single page layouts.
