Read shinsekai yori (tl. From the new world) on tme's recommendation and holy heck story was wild. The plot twists were everywhere. Can't trust anything. Has themes on moral dilemmas (I like these kinda themes). Downside was the lewd scenes like why (but it's skippable so).

I like how you prepared the plot, very detailed description of the post-apocalyptic world! The ending got me, this is the most romantic one. You're such a talented actor and scriptwriter, can't help loving you more for this.
Japanese games, on the other hand, were taking inspiration from anime & manga to deliver more complex stories, with interesting settings, fun characters and plot twists.
And the Japanese PCs & consoles could render amazing scenes. These are all JRPGs from the 80s:

Caught the premiere of #Suzume with IRLs and enjoyed it thoroughly! Another heartfelt story from Shinkai w/ out-of-this-world visuals & so much heart. A couple of the supporting "creatures" felt disconnected from the rest of the plot, but never distracted from the core message.
