@Chemikalienn Referencing is ok as long as you study the pose/ design and are able to transform it into your own. Tracing on the other side. That's a no no. No matter how cute is the OG at least give credit if you wanna use it

I used to draw cartoon characters but in 4th grade a teacher accused me of tracing and made me rip up all my drawings, I pretty much stopped drawing cartoon characters besides an occasional thing

Especially when it's something like a very common action angle and pose.
Its not ripping something off. If you see the reference, cool. It just means you know what works inspire the artist.
Tracing and referencing aren't the same thing and I'm tired of people acting like it.
