I'm glad about FFXVI's high-fantasy setting, but they still can do way better than that. Remember IX's weird animal people, or I's big sky castle full of robots, or VI's phantom train, or THE FREAKING MOON in IV. XVI gotta have something like that, y'know

FFXVI seems to have summoning of summons by people, similar to FFXIV. Summons are called "Eikons" by characters in the trailer. We see a fight between Shiva and Titan, and one character gets crushed under a rock.
