Here's a more clear view of Krile and Tataru in the back!
The ladies will be on the background standee, and Estinien on the foreground~
No.1 is the shrine of Sorun, the god of honorable warfare, and so his was situated in a classic Norse longhouse-like setting.
The "corridor with dragonheads" layout is something I like a lot, so I added that as a foreground element.

Repost of Deca vs. Squama.
A buddy of mine, @PhilDragash , pointed out that I'd forgotten to account for atmospheric perspective to separate the foreground from the background.
Thanks, Phil!
Vincent Van Gogh’s 1888 oil ~Trunk of an old yew tree in strong fauvist colors in foreground to horizon, popped by relatively brilliant yellow sky, Fine impressionist #ART by a master; My WC similar idea: https://t.co/NrzzARQ5a4
Just compare the line thickness of the left one to the right one.
One has clear outlines, one very thin lines all over the place. This makes it very difficult to parse visually. The fact that the background pops as much as the foreground doesn't help either.

in the style of Pierre Bonnard
quite beautiful minus the blood smears in the foreground
I haven't drawn macro in like a month or two. How could I do such a thing. So here's a scribble of Unnamed Ninetales Girl looming over unsuspecting foreground buildings.

#SciFiDaily Hatching the Phoenix by Vincent Di Fate - who must have the coolest sci-fi artist's name ever. This caught my eye because the ship in the foreground similar to how I envision the starliner that's the setting for my Kindle Vella story, The Hostage in Hiding.
Wow! It's the first non-prologue page of my comic!
Disclaimer: this comic is not about giant seagulls attacking a city. They're in the foreground.

Foregrounding long rising and falling strings in the soundtrack itself captures the concepts of tension and friction by quite literally using tension and friction to create the actual noises we’re hearing. Changing the notes on the same string suggests transformation. 5/6
RachelToll’s 2021 WC -Sennon Cove Seascape, Deftly stroked in strong colors seaside foreground draws gaze over tranquil bay waters to the hillside town and beyond the horizon, An air of serenity pervades the lovely Impression, reminiscent of Monet; My nearest WC: https://t.co/HphydiXSPu

Portrait of a lady, bust-length, in a white satin dress, with a broach and pearls, a red flower in the foreground
. @TheRoguez has drawn Silber watching the birds on their morning hunt. Black phoebes are my favourite among the ones I regularly see.
I like the clouds she painted and also how the foreground slope cuts across the landscape. The colours capture the coolness of early morning.
@alyssamonks is known for her experimentation with layers and semi-transparent foregrounds. The painter captures moments almost in a photographic manner with a gesture of capturing momentary closeness, expression and touch.

@hobbyistgirl Hey! Wanted to share with you the 400mm tall gigantic diorama we made for Cthulhu Rises, which launches in three days. 🙂 (the tiny humans in the foreground are 32mm) Please watch our intro video and look for hidden Easter eggs!!! ❤

Interesting how Shinji doesn't overcome his fear with anything heroic. He's just subjected to the biggest guilt trip ever.
More great use of space to pace the last scene, too. You're drawn to Rei's condition in the foreground, then Shinji's dawning realization in the background.
