Despite my issues with the Buu arc, I love the climax with the three clever wishes, Buu helping, Mr Satan gaining energy from Earth and saving Vegeta, and Goku's genkidama finally ending a villain. Seems like a well-thought out finale to the last fight in the original manga.

Yeah, it's just straight up broken. It's not about "unrealistic" anatomy. It's just a floating limb, and in the same image, you have Goku's pec not even remotely following what his arm is doing. There's no excuse for that since it would introduce more dynamism if it were correct.
