Current W.I.P video of what I'm doing for a D.I.Y.S. challenge. Painting shadows with red and layering in skin tone. Been working with this technique for a while and I think it really works well though being a bit time consuming. Will post final results with the challenge.

A small break for more concept art. Elves feature prominently in the River's End universe, because I grew up steeped in elf lore. Maderlav elves (Drada) are pretty typical. They produce lucents, see in the dark, and hear exceptionally well. They're also fussy af and love layering
