I'll start!
-I switched from opaque and thin lineart to thiccc lineart :DD
-I went from Linear Dodge to Color Dodge + Multiply
-Learned filters 😎👌
@gaeulesbo @gayuuji just basically know where your light source is coming and shade where light is not directly on it and when shading since your still a beginning use multiply and a color similar to the original hope i explained ok tell me if it’s still confusing 😭
@LizzieSLC @BeelzebubTV Trying something new, using a value map on multiply, but nyeeeeeeeeeh still tempted to scratch it, meld it with color and get back to my usual color mode. ME A COLORFUL PERSON. HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS. ME CAN NOT.
@ortamaw Add little details to make the character pop or I just use a (sort of) gradient by putting a brush multiply layer and blending it to look pretty lol
pretty cool 2 year contrast. i got a bit better i’d say (but shoutout to me for being able to do that shading back then without knowing what multiply and overlay was)
[Chase the bugs]
You remember you liked chasing bugs when you were small. So you decide to do it again, for memory’s sake. The bugs fly away as you follow them, childish giggles leaving your mouth. The farther you go, the darker and cloudier it gets. The bugs seem to multiply.
Guess who just learned about multiply~

let's use this for example, when doing the lineart, Mapping, redraw etc, in the end, I rendered these abs with (90%) hard shading, and used the ab lineart to multiply help make the lighting not too muddy and unclear,

Continuing my color experiments. This time i'm
using Krita's "Hard Overlay" blending mode to shade (a better version of "Hard Light" that mixes Divide with multiply instead of Screen)
The colors aren't as vibrant as i normaly like, but it's really easy to make a good contrast.
saw @/Banbuds new timelapse, and saw that he doesnt use multiply, and instead used vivid light, so i decided to experiment myself, and decided that soft light is the best to use, thanks to Banbuds for being such an good artist, never would have known this!

[cc] — hair tut?
OK! base color, add a multiply layer and put the base color to the top and bottom. add a color dodge layer with the base color to the highlight & under the hair. add another mult and add some finer shading. details (defining highlights & adding overlay layers) :3
@HaveYouMetTomu Heyo!! I'm a multiply neurodivergent autistic asthmatic artist and character designer who's still learning but strives to draw positive art for everyone and tell nice stories!
Reposting my homegirl, SHE OF THE SNAKES. May your inner snake goddess whelm forth from within you this day, and may the heads of your enemies multiply at your feet 💕
So I was doing my hair shadows on a separate layer to put multiply on since base color has a gradient but
Damn platinum isn’t a bad color on me either 👀
