The OoT pose was used in ads for TPHD & Hyrule Warriors Legends, but was not actual art used for either game's renders.

The TP pose one was used for Nintendo Store/NY, eShop cards, JP site, amiibo and general Nintendo displays. They don't represent a specific game.

I don't know if anyone else has ever noticed it till now, but it looks like BotW Link is wearing arm sleeves with patterns similar to OoT/TP Ganondorf's sleaves, even down to the colors.

Is there a connection? Probably not. Though still a cool detail I never noticed till now.

A bit oot. Last space asked me abt merch making but I didn't get to explain it properly 😅. For me drawing for a merch is more difficult cause I can't copy and paste an existing illustration into different products-

OoT Link still has a ton of character. I think they came up with a fun design for Link on the NES, made him taller for ALttP/LA, but Ocarina was their first time saying, “let’s make Link Cool”

They knew what would appeal to gamers in that era, which is why he’s a twink now
