There's been a significant shift in the power dynamic between Salem and Cinder this volume. It's possible this is because Cinder's failure, but rn it feels more like a retcon of their relationship for the sake of making Cinder understandable. We'll see where this goes ig.#rwby8

The Cushing Doctor is an incarnation who shrouded himself with a Chameleon Arch but it only half worked, so he knows enough about the TARDIS to pilot it (but has self retconned the origins of the ship) but has also forgotten who the Daleks are.

@Erik_was_right For example in Excalibur Vol 3 we see his tattoo has been retconned to be 24005. When it was first shown in Uncanny X-Men 161 it was 214782 though.
