@AnimAnthro And since we're on the subject, let's make that a double.

Light should not only form your subject, but also compliment your story. https://t.co/Tr3z6wKkFP
I wasn’t sure how well this new work would translate to print. Turns out I didn’t need to worry. Every bit of texture, every hidden subject, every slight change of shade, all as clear as the real thing.
I hesitate to post this one cause I know it's a sensitive subject, please just see that as what it is : a positive picture in the keeping of my previous works

...Continuing with pig subjects in honor of the Chinese lunar new year, Year of the Pig 🌕🐷✨ This is “Pigtail.” If the previous post was the largest painting of the smallest subject, this is the smallest painting of the largest subject. My model was a… https://t.co/ZST5eU6IhP
Some busts of my good friend, @deepbluefeeling! Thanks for letting me use you as a practice subject, they're always fun to draw!
Day 866: Ala Gannha Tent! Tonight's result was bad. It wasn't a very interesting subject, and I couldn't really get into it in the end unfortunately. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to focus up and actually get some good work in. I really need to get some good work in!
Mythological Subject, 1921
Art by Nicholas Kalmakoff (Nikolai Kalmakov) (1873-1955).
@aniistoll Hello hello! Ramen hasn’t entered my arsenal of food illustrations just yet, but I’d love to add it to the family like this! My portfolio is a little more varied in subject, but I’m over on https://t.co/CYSl4fnJPO! :]
It wasn’t until 1858 that Wallace, suffering from a fever, understood how species evolved. The fittest survived and reproduced, passing advantageous characteristics on to their offspring. Wallace immediately wrote to someone else interested in the subject, Charles Darwin.
More fiddling with digital drawing (with Ignis as the lovely subject, of course). Made with Adobe Photoshop Sketch, which I hated at first, but it’s growing on me. #FFXV #IgnisScientia #digitaldrawing
The Kneeling Man
The Penitent King
Who kneels in service before his subject, he is given the moon
...and all its favor.

In his composition, Witkin references two famous artistic figures: Botticelli's Birth of Venus (top part) and the "Dead Christ" (below). There are many similar paintings of this subject, here is the one by Spanish painter Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench (1849-1916).
Same subject, different times of the year ... You can tell I'm pretty much obsessed with him lmao (and I hope I'll be able to work on the story he's featured in next year! ✨) #Post3Drawings
Holes in the Sky by Patricia Polacco
