I like her bubbly, theatrical personality. I like her detective aesthetic being a vessel for her thirst for knowledge. I like her habit of writing down EVERYTHING compulsively. I like her unique struggle (injuries that don’t heal but remain fresh forever, can’t feel neg emotions)

We’re only halfway through the year but Luca and Mitchells vs the Machines are easily my 2 favourite films so far.

Both tell emotional and light-hearted journeys with some of the best inventive & creative animation. My only nitpick is neither got wide theatrical releases.

I f*cking loved Rogue One the first time I saw It and I adore It even more now. It is without a doubt Disney's greatest theatrical work that connects to the original trilogy PERFECTLY.. I love them all and It broke my heart even more watching it again.. As I said.. Its special 👇 https://t.co/7pcHFJFGbZ

A painting from 2017 I think?? I really loved this one, but the critique was that it looked too theatrical....but I mean, it's ballet haha.
Obviously would integrate the background and foreground better now, and the rendering could be improved!

Lament of Innocence was such a dope start to Castlevania. The origins of the Vampire Killer & The feud between Dracula and the Belmont Clan is pretty damn theatrical. I'm keen for Castlevania 3 next!!!

Thanks for tuning in for the first game of Guaca vs Castlevania!

The styling of them is a little.. theatrical.
But I think it works well.
And, just wait till you get to the Ninja's and other creatures.. 😁 (Ninjas? Yeah, Ninjas!) 👍

'The pirate has been lifted up to a strange kind of poetry in some of Jack Yeats' pictures. I remember one called "Walking the Plank". The solemn theatrical face, lifted up to the blue sky in a last farewell to the wild world and its lawless freedom, haunted me for days.'
