Procedural generated pine forest using Blender 3.0's improved geometry nodes. Needs improvements, but good enough for now!
It doesn't look good up close, but works well for backgrounds + depth of field--just don't use an HDRI with nearby trees haha

@Taijuey Nah, I feel like sometimes it gets close, but I can’t quite get the edginess and depth that I want. First two are mine, second two are inspiration:
A lot of people seemed to like my funny lil au
I'll probably go more in depth with it soon but for now please take a funny

really the only flaw of the character is that, for how much depth he's given, the way his face is drawn is a bit of a concern sometimes. far from the worst i've seen when it comes to black characters in anime though
Cosmic horror speaks to the unknowable… the depths of despair and terror that can only come from the far reaches of the universe.

A new #algorithm was developed to weave curves through shapes within a scene. The curves that pass through shapes are mostly #random, but within limits to ensure there isn't an unappealing mess of crossing lines. Notice how thickness and color vary slightly to show depth.
Suggested by @benjami63178831 today's Underrated #Digimon of the Day is MarineDevimon!
A dirty fighter that even Devimon hates to fight. It completely lacks all emotions besides hatred due to its lonely life in the ocean depths.

I don't often get to do more well-defined muscles with added depth, but when I do it's always pretty fun.
Congratulations to @Bochii14 , @Tommybridge2 and @BdJennyfer for winning Dark Depths event pass codes! https://t.co/WD0uRRn8lN
I'm often asked how I work out depth, light etc... While I enjoy the process of calculating these by eye, I also make perspective construction lines occasionally (bottom left). More recently I use "lens distortion" lines - (not on this older piece though - "Nimbus"). 💜🧡💛🤍
Progress teaser thing feat. the aforemented 3D background. I will paint it a bit to make it blend better and then add some blur to give it some depth.

Day 7 of #25DaysofFishmas and I am sharing a few chimaera illustrations. These fish are relatives of sharks, rays and live deep down in the oceans up to depths of 2600m!!

387 - Cinematic Commission
Happy with how this one came out. I gotta do more cinematic scenes with a super imposed element and push the depth more.
#PearlHarbor80 #OTD 12/7/1941 3:42 am Hawaii time, the US Navy minesweeper Condor spots a periscope outside the harbor entrance channel into Pearl Harbor. Hours later, a PBY Catalina flying boat marks the spot, and then destroyer USS Ward depth-charges it, claiming a kill.
