It's honestly funny how inconsistent Ralsei's design has been so far. His new talk sprite has the horns facing the opposite direction and his sleeves changed colors across chapters. Glasses are depicted as green in overworld but not in talk sprites.

Not only does he got heavily fluffed-up feet, but he doesn't have arms like us. To him that's just normal, because the tendrils he has have a much more free form of movement and control. Honestly we appear more hindered than him with our arms that only bend in one direction.

Personal thoughts recently about that 'Uncanny Valley' feeling, it also occurs during eyepainting; sometimes we sculpt a little bit mistaken and the focal point, sometimes we look at only the pupil, the highlight, or the overall edge, feeling difficult to set sight direction.
