Lfrith Rough Shading, second pass. In this phase, I added darker shadows and lighter areas over top of the first shading phase. All of this is done in 2D in Procreate. No 3D model was used in this process.

I believe I had the first concept back in February 2022, created a 3D Vroid model sometime in either March or April 2022, then my current 2D model that's still being rigged!❤️☺️

Class demo - HD'ing the Mech from FFVI. I showed students how to find forms using side profile sketches, which are easier to draw, then "skewing" that side view in PS and extruding it into 3D, thus preserving the proportions. It's a fast process; useful in early phases of design.
