Something I tend to have fun doing is using a limited palette that naturally has some colors that 'ramp' into each other and using that for shading. I gravitate towards it a lot on personal stuff but rarely in comms. I should make it easier for ppl to say "do my comm like that"!

the projects i want to do while closed for comms are all short-ish, one shot stories. so that even if they are huge time sinks, and flopp, i dont mourn the never published second chapter. at least, thats my plan!
