You're just assuming (or, wishfully thinking) that, you don't know their design process at all. Cynthia is a grown woman, she's not gonna look drastically different. Caitlin, on the other hand, has clearly aged because she was younger to begin with, making the change noticeable.

Here we have 2 different yet the same character. 's characters Luci and Mr.Hide are one in the same but very different. I had to restart this drawing like 3 times cause I was never happy with the result but after a push of my own I finished it and am proud of this.
