Last week I spoke to Grade 4 students at Beaumaris North Primary about my new OTHER WORLDS books. My first session talking about this series, which hits bookshops today (blog post forthcoming). I'm hoping that their reaction, which was pretty enthusiastic, is a good sign.

"Robert and Sky" by Evan Kitson, Graphite, Red Chalk, & Shellac. Kitson works and teaches drawing in New York. I love his willingness to get dirty and push the materials about (he did some training with Odd Nerdrum). Great sketchbooks.
