I want to loosen up and focus more on design and color rather than subject. So I’ve found experimenting digitally where I feel less pressure - then taking that concept to paint, has been a really helpful tool! 🎨☺️
There are Pros and Cons to each style, but the sketchy look has become a favorite of mine. Now if I could only make the switch in my comic, rather than defaulting back to a "cel-shaded" look.
