2/7: Some background: Back in 2014-2015 I worked on a comic called #RaisingDion. It was the first full length comic I worked on professionally & was written by Dennis Liu. When the book (& short film/trailer) released, it got decent attention & in 2017 #Netflix greenlit a series.
I think this was from around 2014-2015! I loved Lapis a lot bc I related to her feeling trapped/isolated due to my intense agoraphobia, though not quite at the same situation she was in lmao. Steven Universe was my comfort show for a while (I kidna wanna rewatch it now,,,,)

For class I had to repaint an old drawing with a focus on controlled use of values and saturation. My old avi on the right was from 2014-2015ish (the proportions are still off but this was mostly just about the rendering process)
