These are the 'Star Trek: New Frontier' series of novels from the 90s. Designed to be a new series alongside 90s Trek. I remember taking these out from the library & loving the adventures of Captain Mackenzie Calhoun & the USS Excalibur. I'd be very curious if they held up today.

It took me the inspiration from old cartoons from 30s to 60s, cartoony-looking video games, the Japanese Anime that look like cartoons like Doreamon, Anpanman, etc. and some Cartoons from the 90s. Currently I use some sketchy artstyle like @/MrT1ckleM0nster does.
