If 2020 couldn't already get any worse, R.I.P Uderzo. Absolutely gutted. He was probably one of the BIGGEST influences on my career. An utter genius and his artwork will always have a special place in my heart. In tribute here's the art I did for an Asterix 60th anniversary book.

Asterix was a big part in my childhood. The artwork of Albert Uderzo was an inspiration not just for fun entertaining story telling but how through the entire series one is improving themselves from start to end.

Oh man, , the co-creator of Asterix & Obelix, died. HUUUGE icon. Asterix was the first major series that I was obsessed with. It had a tremendous impact on my art.

I'm still reading the new albums to this very day.

Sad to hear of the passing of Albert and co-creator of The Gaul.
I'm guessing most folks won't have heard of him, but the Asterix and cartoons were something I very enjoyed and loved as a child.
