For #Spectember I submit to you, the carnivorous horse, or "loper." To call them horses is a misnomer, these large predators are actually most closely related to hyenas and only resemble horses superficially. They are one of 3 remaining species in the genus hippomorphus.
As a personal request, the artificial body of the counselor was equipped with modes of movement similar to those found in the various worlds with a diverse fauna. In this case similar to a long-legged carnivorous quadruped

Seeing all the carnivorous horses pop up again I wanted to draw my neravontii
Another old concept art piece. Carnivorous succulent! Please imagine it bloops like a jellyfish occasionally.

Here's my piece made for the #artstylebend challenge! Using saturated colors instead of pastels hurt only a little bit, but making everything angular... ouchie. I had a lot of fun drawing my OC like this tho! She's a fun carnivorous alien ☺️☺️
The new Order Immaniomorpha, colloquially known as "Behemoths." The chart below explores the physiology of Uran bellua, or the common Aero behemoth; a carnivorous branch of the genus Uran, and a breathtaking creature that oddly resembles commercial airlines ✈️
So I heard we’re doing carnivorous horses again? Inspired by @MetTiinA ’s creatures from yesterday, a mix of wild horse, creodont and tiger. Wouldn’t want to run into this in the woods.
Carnivorous plants have been eating my brain recently so I drew a Pinguicula/Butterwort. #carnivorousplants #art #plantart #artistsontwitter
Model painting and carnivorous plants...
A few of yesterday's highlights from our #AugustDrawingChallenge.
We've challenged our team and followers to draw something new every day. This will help get the creative juices flowing and give you a unique document of the month.
@yohocutie This is Cinnamon! She was a rabbit in a forest area used as a test site for radioactive bombs, and so she grew to be the size of a horse and exceptionally carnivorous. She does have some higher intelligence similar to a young child, but its masked by how hostile she is.
These swamps are home to vicious frogs, be wary of their teeth! #frogust day 16 is carnivorous

The wild-type carnivorous horse similar in build to the domestic, however it is more obvious how closely related to hyenas they are.
He also found that Erlikosaurus could open its mouth to a 43 degree angle at maximum compared to carnivorous theropods which had wider jaw gapes than herbivores, similar to modern carnivorous animals.
I know. Vore and dentistry is a trope as old as time.
Look. Hierax is half-bird. He can't help but have a keen interest in the dental health of his carnivorous companions.
... He also can't help the fact he's delicious. It's really not the best of evolutionary traits to endure.

This will no doubt sit uneasily with those of you who disdain carnivorous consumption but keep in mind, this guy is not supposed to be particularly nice.
