Cuneiform tablets might not be the most beautiful artefacts from the ancient world, but they open up a window onto some of the earliest attempts to make sense of the universe in a systematic way - of science-ing.

Yes I came down eventually, good luck with your second book and keep me in mind if you need any science-y graphics. Or even non-sciencey. I illustrated a kids book all about fussy eaters :)

Back from the con means more practice to get myself back in gears to painting. I painted my OC this time from my science-fantasy world-building and clearly I'm not good at painting majority of cold colors just yet. I got carried away with the paleness.

Personally? I have two, largely due to the challenge they presented.

The first one is because it's my first crack at science-fantasy versions of mythologies, as well as the fact I don't do much lighting at night.

The other is because it's my first time digitally inking rain.

...Stars spell out your name, like in a science-fiction drama
Romance growing, like a flower in the summer
You always keep me guessing, forever my wonder
Hope you start undressing, all my dreams and take me under

I read 's powerful "Broken Earth" trilogy and loved it. Not only is it great storytelling and character building, but it also includes an intriguing blend of fantasy, adventure, science-fiction, and science. I wanted to share more about book 1 and...volcanoes!

Hallo, I'm Equilorian. I'm a digital artist working on a postapocalyptic science-fantasy comic called "And Then the Sky Began to Cry"
Right now I'm listening to a lot of Nevermore, but my fave bands of all time are probably Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Dragonforce and Edguy

A tiled version of the poster that I have recreated from the 1927 film 'Metropolis,' a German expressionist film in the science-fiction genre directed by Fritz Lang. If you've never seen it, you should watch it. Quite ahead of its time.
