As an FFXIV comic artist I always have to consider how to simplify the original designs in a way that captures the core aesthetic. Many gearsets don't make sense and/or are overly ornamental! It's ok for illustration, not for comics lol

I wanted to make a quick illustration, so I took the opportunity to simplify my coloring method. Sadly, the nuance in color is difficult to achieve with this method, and I'm not happy with how it's turning out. May end up in my pile of WIPs. We shall see.
